He darkens a vast landscape,
were the cursed cannot escape
The beast has cast its shadow,
From hilltop, moor, and meadow
On walls of stone, and under moon;
This all shall fall upon them soon,
For the villagers - they live below,
And the villagers - they do not know, -
Of twisted, dark-gifted, angry-fisted vow
And how the Man became beast now
And no reason, of great amount, shall live to survive -this all
The desperate, dying, denying doubt -shall face its final fall,
Like a dream that walks unwakened does
-Reason is blind to what this was
It could not save, nor stave the curse
Hope, like glass, sees the bad turn worse
